Regulations
Welcome to bet5games’ guide on Baccarat regulations. Baccarat is a popular card game in many casinos worldwide, and understanding its rules and regulations is crucial for both new and experienced players. This guide will provide you with all the necessary information to play Baccarat confidently and responsibly.
Objective of the Game
The main objective in Baccarat is to predict which hand, the Player’s or the Banker’s, will have a point value closest to 9. You can also bet on a tie, where both hands have the same value.
Card Values
- Cards 2 to 9 are worth their face value.
- 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings are worth 0 points.
- Aces are worth 1 point.
The Deal
- The game begins with two hands being dealt: one for the Player and one for the Banker.
- Each hand starts with two cards.
- Depending on the total value of the cards, a third card may be drawn for the Player or the Banker.
Drawing the Third Card
- If the Player’s hand totals 0-5, the Player draws a third card.
- If the Player’s hand totals 6 or 7, the Player stands.
- If the Player stands, the Banker draws a third card if their total is 0-5.
- If the Player draws a third card, the Banker’s action depends on the value of the Player’s third card.
Winning the Game
- The hand closest to 9 wins.
- If both hands have the same total, it’s a tie.
